Transfer LTSVP from Old Passport to New Passport

Would like to write this down when my memory is still fresh regarding the process of transferring LTSVP from old passport to new passport. 

1. Filled up 1x IMM12 Form (Download)

- this form can be obtained from Level 2 photocopy shop (Putrajaya Office) too.

2. 1x Photocopy & Original of Sponsor's IC

3. 1x Photocopy & Original of Applicant's New Passport

4. 1x Photocopy & Original of Applicant's Old Passport (main photo page & LTSVP page)

5. 1x Passport Photo of Applicant
Note: Officer at the numbering counter also asked if I brought the birth cert (I am doing this sticker transfer for my child) but in the end it is not needed. So I guess you should bring along whatever supporting document that might make sense (eg. birth cert for kids, marriage cert for spouse), just in case they ask for it.

5. Applicant need to go together with sponsor to immigration office. 

6. Make appointment on Immigration Office Online Queue System (here) for your preferred office.
- SPO (Online Inquiry Portal of Immigration Office) told me that I am allow to go to different office (from where we open file for LTSVP), but need to make appointment through the online queue system.
- If you are going to Putrajaya office, can walk in, no need to make reservation.

I went to Putrajaya office even though it is far because:
- I couldn't get an appointment for Jalan Duta office on the new queue website (forever full!!).
- The morning traffic to Jalan Duta is almost the same as driving all the way to Putrajaya.
- My experiences in Putrajaya was always better than in Jalan Duta office (friendlier officer, lesser crowd)

I arrived around 8.30am with only the passports so I spent few minutes to prepare the needed document at the photocopy shop on Level 2 (paid around RM3.50). 

Once the document is ready, the officer on Level 3 gave me a number. 

We waited for almost an hour for our turn to submit our form at Counter 3 (many of the officers was away from their chairs before 9am), and the officer asked us to go eat or drink something and come back after one hour and wait near the Payment/Collection counter (12/13). 

We came back in half hour time, and got called for collection around 10.25am (which was really around one hour after submission). 

Putrajaya office is always very cold, bring along your cardigan/jacket!!
